June Scott is President/ CEO/ Co-owner . She co-founded Visual Vitality Consulting Inc. in 2014. She has consulted with business, education and healthcare industries to raise awareness on accessibility for people living with a disability to promote diversity and inclusion in all settings. She has spoken before varied audiences and has co-authored curriculum on accessibility and disability that has been taught in the university setting as well as in various trainings. Her expertise and customized approach has been sought after not only by businesses but individual clients as well.
June is a seasoned career nurse and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience of with extensive knowledge of visible and invisible disabilities as well as best business practices Her experience includes working with people living with mental illness, substance use in addition to medical and cardiac populations. She has also worked with K-12 students . She is a active board member of local non-profit and for profit organizations some focusing on Human Rights and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion . She also currently serves as a Board of Trustees member for a independent private day and boarding school for girls, collaborating with various departments promoting leadership and advocacy skills for middle and high school age students as well as serving on their DEI subcommittee. June also has been a volunteer in the medical tent at the Boston Marathon for many years and her knowledge and care of Para Athletes has been sought after to educate others and offer care in the Para Athletes Medical Tent. Her insight and innovate suggestions have been incorporated into educational and marketing materials as well as providing expert opinion in Federal ADA case. She continues to advise on ADA/504 compliance, promoting advocacy and inclusion.
June is the mother of two adult children with visible and invisible disabilities.
June holds a Master of Arts degree from CUNY school of Professional Studies in Disability Studies and Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospital Administration from Simmons University as well as her Nursing degree from Laboure College. She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling form Boston College School of Social Work and is certified ADA /504 consultant.
